Mario Severin, the sponsor of the CARE & FAIR Semuhi School in Bhadohi, India, and his family went on a trip with their 8th-grade students. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of his company “miinu,” Mr. Severin, along with his wife and son, organized this outing to bring joy to the children.
On April 2, 2025, at 8:00 AM, 27 students and three teachers departed with the C & F bus to Sarnath, Varanasi. After arriving at 10:30 AM, the group collectively visited the historic site of Sarnath. A specially arranged tour guide provided detailed insights into the history and significance of Sarnath, Buddhism, and Mahatma Buddha, and explained the national symbol Ashoka in both Hindi and English.
The students also visited the zoo and museum in Sarnath.
After a lunch organized by Mr. Severin in the afternoon, a city tour of Varanasi was conducted. A visit to the JVH Mall was also planned.
To keep track of the children there, they were divided into separate teams and strolled through the mall, played video games, and enjoyed refreshments.
As a nice gesture, Mr. Mario Severin presented small gifts to all the students and teachers who participated in the trip, thanking everyone for the wonderful time. At 4:30 PM, the students and teachers left Varanasi, once again on the C & F bus heading towards the CARE & FAIR Semuhi School in Bhadohi, arriving home around 6:30 PM.
This trip brought immense joy to everyone. It was educational yet a healthy mix of learning and fun – a special experience for all!
