A generous donation for our carpetXL School in India
Once again, CARE & FAIR India was delighted to receive a generous donation from Mr. Khan, a CARE & FAIR trustee, and his family.
The Khan family expressed the wonderful wish to have part of the school grounds at the carpetXL School covered.
This meaningful idea was immediately put into action by CARE & FAIR India.
A large covered area, a new floor and a new stage were constructed.
This means that the students can now spend their breaks outdoors, protected from both the intense heat and the rain.
But the new covered area offers many more possibilities. Events of all kinds – from award ceremonies and cultural performances for visitors to celebrations on special occasions, such as India’s Independence Day – can now take place regardless of the weather.
On behalf of CARE & FAIR, and especially on behalf of our students, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Khan family for their generous support and this wonderful idea.
We would now like to bring this truly meaningful idea to all CARE & FAIR schools. A covered area like this not only protects our children from the sun and rain, but also creates a valuable space for community, interaction, education and shared experiences.
