In 2001 CARE & FAIR took over responsibility for this school  which hitherto had been operated in Khamaria by “Jagritti“, a foundation of a group of renowned carpet dealers and friend of CARE & FAIR. With a great deal of their own initiative and investment, a new building with 12 classrooms and space for more than 300 children was built in 2002/2003. We still plan to invest in additional construction work in order to achieve the target standard. Since the school year 2004 the CARE & FAIR member Möbel Hubacher from Rothrist in Switzerland has shouldered, for the time being, all expenses which have arisen here. The Khamaria Clinic is also located here.
