The small village Harisiddhi counts approximately 8,000 inhabitants and is situated about five kilometres outside of Kathmandu. The population lives from agriculture and carpet

production, notably from spinning wool. CARE & FAIR initiated the necessary renovations in 2000 and today also pays tuition

and regular medical visits for all pupils.
